About Reece
Reece graduated in Physiotherapy from Bournemouth University and began his career in musculoskeletal physiotherapy in Broadstone, where he built a strong interest in helping people stay active and reach the goals that matter to them.
He went on to train in hydrotherapy, working with people across a wide range of ages and abilities — from those rebuilding after injury to those managing long-term conditions where exercising on land is painful or difficult.
What drives him is keeping people mobile, active and as independent as possible. Much of that is with older adults: rebuilding strength after an illness or a fall, keeping stiff and painful joints working, and making sure someone can carry on managing the things they have always managed. The same principles put a footballer back on a pitch and get someone back up their own stairs — graded, measurable work, built around what the person actually wants to do again.
Away from work Reece is a keen footballer and gym-goer, travels whenever he can, and is serious about cars. He also took an unusual route into the profession — he originally trained as a plumber before changing direction and retraining in physiotherapy.
Where Reece visits
Reece is based in Broadstone and covers roughly a thirty-minute drive from there as standard. He will happily travel further when we need him to — a travel fee may apply, and we will always tell you before you book, never afterwards.
Common questions
Does Reece work with older adults?
Yes — that is the majority of his work. Reece helps older adults rebuild strength after an illness, a fall or a spell of inactivity, keeps stiff and painful joints moving, and works on the mobility that keeps someone managing at home. He works with adults of all ages and abilities, so returning athletes and eighty-year-olds get the same graded, measurable approach. Call 07384 590177.
What is hydrotherapy and who is it for?
Hydrotherapy is physiotherapy carried out in warm water, where the support of the water takes weight off painful joints and makes movement easier. It suits people across a wide range of ages and abilities, and it is particularly useful where exercising on land is painful or difficult — which for many people is exactly the point they had given up.
Can Reece help me get back to sport after an injury?
Yes. Reece works in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and return-to-sport rehabilitation, building strength, movement and confidence back up at home. No GP referral is needed — call 07384 590177 to arrange a visit.
