Jess Holt

Qualified in 2008 from Oxford Brookes University, Jess returned to Dorset to work at Bournemouth Hospital, where she worked within a wide range of areas before specialising in acute neurology.

She later moved into community services, gaining extensive experience in older persons’ rehabilitation, falls recovery, and vestibular rehabilitation as well as community rehabilitation in neurological conditions. 

Currently working within an NHS team supporting people with long-term neurological conditions, Jess has broad experience working with individuals living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Stroke, PSP, and Spinal Cord Injury. She supports a wide range of clients to aid the management of their conditions & improving quality of life. Jess is passionate about improving a patient’s confidence in their physiotherapy journey aiding their recovery & encouraging healthy routines, improving overall well being. 

Additional training includes Movement Science course to treat Stroke patients, SCI management in the community, Vestibular rehabilitation, Pilates Matwork Level 1 through APPI as well as experience working with expert teams to support spasticity management & contracture prevention. 

Outside of work Jess enjoys a busy family life as well as cycling & running.
