Debbie Richards

Debbie qualified from the University of the West of England in 2012 with a first-class honours degree in Physiotherapy.

She has worked in a wide variety of clinical settings including elderly care, accident and emergency, musculoskeletal outpatients, orthopaedics, respiratory, intensive care, community rehabilitation and now specialises in private practice.

Debbie started her career in Gloucester Hospital before working in a number of hospitals to gain further experience including Wimborne, Poole, Plymouth and Torbay. Debbie specialised in older people care within an acute and a community setting before focussing on private practice.

Debbie is also qualified in Western-based medical acupuncture and completed her training with the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP).

Debbie is passionate about providing the highest quality of care to her clients to ensure the best results are achieved.

Debbie specialises in older people physiotherapy and rehabilitation, providing a holistic approach to understanding and addressing age related conditions. She aims to improve confidence, reduce falls, improve balance and mobility issues whilst also having fun!

When Debbie is not working she enjoys running, spending time with her family, and attending the local athletics club with her children.

Fun Fact- When Debbie went travelling, she completed a sky dive and bungy jump in New Zealand. She is also proud to have spent time in London with the Olympic Athletes in 2012.
