FAQs
-
A: Absolutely not. Although we specialise in physiotherapy for seniors, and individuals with neurological conditions, as a team we can treat adults and children of all ages. This is due to the different specialities our physios hold.
We see anyone who would prefer to be treated at home rather than in a clinic.
Our therapists all have different areas of expertise and you will be matched with the therapist most suitable for your condition and circumstances.
For example, we have senior therapists specialising in stroke rehabilitation, FND & Parkinson’s, and other senior therapists specialising in orthopaedic conditions such as hip or knee replacement, injuries or back pain.
On your initial phone call this will be discussed with you to ensure the therapist with the best expertise in your condition is matched to you.
-
A: Treatment frequency varies based on individual needs. Post-surgery or stroke patients may need 2-3 visits weekly initially, while those managing chronic conditions might benefit from weekly or fortnightly sessions.
Our physiotherapists assess each elderly patient's progress and adjust visit frequency accordingly, always focusing on achieving optimal independence and quality of life.
Treatment frequency entirely depends on individual needs and circumstances which will be discussed on the initial visit.
-

We can also recommend home adaptations, equipment and teach safe transfer methods.
