About Lauren
Lauren qualified in 2013 and has worked across home, community, inpatient and outpatient settings in both the NHS and private practice. That range matters: she has seen what happens on a ward, and she has seen what happens when someone gets home and the support stops.
Her approach is client-centred and evidence-based, built around functional recovery and getting back to the things that actually matter to you. She works closely with families, carers and the wider team, because rehabilitation rarely succeeds in isolation.
A great deal of Lauren’s work is with older adults. Stroke, Parkinson’s disease and the dizziness and balance problems that come with age are all neurological, and all of them respond to the right rehabilitation — but they are often the conditions people are told to simply live with. Which technique she reaches for depends entirely on the assessment: electrical stimulation where a muscle needs waking up, hydrotherapy where the water can take the weight, casting or orthotics where a limb needs holding in a better position.
Every person Lauren sees gets a full assessment, a rehabilitation plan built around their own goals, and clear reasoning for every decision — so you always understand why you are being asked to do something.

Common questions
Can Lauren treat me at home after a stroke?
Yes. Lauren provides neurological physiotherapy in your own home across Southampton, Portsmouth, Winchester and the surrounding area. No GP referral is needed, and we aim to offer same-week appointments wherever possible. Most people come to us once NHS rehabilitation has finished but recovery is still going on. Can vestibular rehabilitation help with dizziness and falls?
Often, yes. Vestibular rehabilitation treats dizziness, vertigo and balance problems caused by the inner ear or the brain’s balance pathways, using specific exercises to retrain the balance system. It matters most in older adults, where unsteadiness is one of the strongest predictors of a fall — and where dizziness is too often accepted as just part of getting older. Lauren assesses and treats these conditions at home.
Can Lauren help after a brain or spinal cord injury?
Yes. Complex neurological rehabilitation is Lauren’s main area of practice, including acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, spasticity and tone management, seating and positioning, and orthotics. She works alongside families, carers and other health professionals so that everyone involved is pulling in the same direction.
