HCPC-Registered Team
NHS-experienced clinicians — not a contractor network.
If you're arranging physiotherapy for an elderly parent, getting the right care shouldn't mean struggling to travel when you're in pain, recovering from surgery, or managing a long-term condition. We come to you.
Our HCPC-registered physiotherapists cover Liphook, Liss and the villages between and around them, including Bramshott, Passfield, Conford, Griggs Green, Greatham and Liss Forest. We visit patients in their own home, care home, or nursing home — building a treatment plan around your life, not a clinic timetable.
Many older adults need both physiotherapy and occupational therapy, and most people aren't sure which one they need. The two work closely together: physiotherapy rebuilds strength, balance and movement, while occupational therapy looks at the practical business of daily life — getting in and out of a chair, managing stairs, washing and dressing safely. Call us and we'll tell you honestly what would help, and arrange it.
We treat a wide range of conditions including falls prevention, stroke rehabilitation, Parkinson's disease, hip and knee replacement recovery, back and joint pain, and post-operative rehabilitation. We aim to offer same-week appointments across both towns, and no GP referral is needed — call us directly to book your home visit.
We provide specialist home physio and OT visits for:
- Older People Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy
- Neurological rehabilitation — including Parkinson's disease and stroke recovery
- Falls prevention and balance rehabilitation
- Recovering mobility, strength and confidence after a hospital stay
- Pre and post-operative care — including hip and knee replacements
- Back pain, joint pain, muscle pain and more
- Rheumatological Conditions
We Help You Live Independently With Confidence, Meaning & Purpose
Whether you're rebuilding strength after a hip replacement, regaining confidence following a fall, or managing life with a stroke or neurological condition — getting to a clinic isn't always possible. We remove that barrier entirely.
Our physiotherapists come to you, delivering expert one-to-one treatment in your home or care home. No difficult journeys. No waiting rooms. Just focused, specialist care at a time and pace that works for you.
We treat you as a whole person — not just your symptoms.
We take the time to understand your life, your challenges, and what independence means to you. Then we build a treatment plan around that. As a small, close-knit team, we also work alongside your family and carers, making sure everyone involved in your care feels supported, informed and part of the process.
Our clinicians each hold specialist areas of expertise, and we carefully match every patient with the therapist best suited to their condition and goals. From the very first visit, you're in the right hands.

Where NHS rehabilitation ends, and how we pick up from there.
Neither Liphook nor Liss has a hospital, a minor injuries unit or an urgent treatment centre. Both are well served for primary care — all four surgeries across the two towns are part of Swan Medical Group — but for anything beyond that you are travelling.
Here the two towns part company, and it is worth knowing which way to go. From Liphook, the nearest A&E is the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford, about sixteen miles north up the A3 and run by Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust. From Liss, it is Queen Alexandra at Cosham, about twenty miles south, run by Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust. Six miles apart, and two different hospitals in two different directions.
For anything less than an emergency, both towns are closer to Petersfield Hospital's urgent treatment centre, open 8am to 8pm every day and run by Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust — about nine minutes from Liss and fifteen from Liphook.
Once you're home, short-term support comes through Hampshire County Council's reablement service — free, including occupational therapists as well as care staff, and capped at six weeks. The difficulty comes when that ends and recovery hasn't finished. Progress after a stroke, a fracture or a long admission often continues for months. We continue the work at home for as long as it's genuinely helping, alongside whatever NHS or council support is already in place rather than in place of it.
The same rate whether you see a physiotherapist or an occupational therapist. Most visits here carry no travel charge at all.
Travel is charged at £1.50 per mile beyond a 5-mile radius and always agreed before your first visit. See our full price list
Most people pay privately, but it isn't the only route.
- Paying privately — no referral, pay after each visit
- Private health insurance, including BUPA and WPA
- Personal budgets and Direct Payments from your council
- NHS Continuing Healthcare funding you already hold
Cover varies by policy and by council, so it's worth checking what yours includes before you book. We've written a plain-English guide explaining how each route works and what to ask.
How to pay for your careAs a small, close-knit team, we pride ourselves on providing high quality treatment with a personalised and friendly approach. We treat you as a whole person and not just your symptoms, working with your family and carers to make sure everyone involved feels supported and informed.

Do you provide physiotherapy for elderly at home in Liphook and Liss?
Yes. Salveo Forma provides home physiotherapy throughout Liphook, Liss and the surrounding GU30 and GU33 area, with HCPC-registered clinicians visiting you in your own home, care home or nursing home. No GP referral is needed — call 07384 590177 to arrange a visit. We cover Bramshott, Passfield, Conford, Griggs Green, Greatham and Liss Forest.
How much does a home physiotherapy visit cost in Liphook or Liss?
A comprehensive initial assessment including treatment is £110 for 60 minutes or more. Follow-up visits are £55 for 30 minutes, £82.50 for 45 minutes and £110 for 60 minutes. Occupational therapy costs exactly the same as physiotherapy. Most visits here carry no travel charge.
What's the difference between physiotherapy and occupational therapy?
Physiotherapy rebuilds strength, balance and movement; occupational therapy looks at the practical business of daily life. In older adults the two overlap constantly — a physiotherapist works on the strength needed to stand from a chair, while an occupational therapist looks at whether the chair is the right height. Most people aren't sure which one they need, and that's fine. Call us on 07384 590177, describe what's happening, and we'll tell you honestly what would help and arrange it.
Do I need a GP referral for a home visit in Liphook or Liss?
No. You can contact us directly on 07384 590177 and we'll arrange an appointment. We also accept referrals from GPs, hospital consultants and insurers, but most people come to us themselves.
Which hospital would we go to from Liphook or Liss?
It depends which of the two towns you live in. From Liphook the nearest A&E is the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford, about sixteen miles north; from Liss it is Queen Alexandra at Cosham, about twenty miles south. For anything short of an emergency, both towns are closer to Petersfield Hospital's urgent treatment centre, open 8am to 8pm daily — roughly nine minutes from Liss and fifteen from Liphook. Neither town has a hospital, minor injuries unit or urgent treatment centre of its own.
How does this work alongside NHS rehabilitation and Hampshire's reablement service?
We work alongside NHS and council support rather than replacing it. Hampshire County Council's reablement service is free, includes occupational therapists, and runs for a maximum of six weeks after a hospital discharge. Most of our clients come to us once that has finished but recovery is still going on. If you are currently under NHS care, tell us and we'll make sure what we do complements it.
How quickly can someone visit me in Liphook or Liss?
We aim to offer same-week appointments wherever possible. Availability does vary by area and by therapist, so we work with you to find a time that fits around your commitments. Call 07384 590177 and we'll tell you honestly what we can do.
If you're arranging physiotherapy for an elderly parent in Liphook or Liss, the hard part usually isn't finding a physiotherapist. It's getting your mother to one.

Most families who call us here are in one of two situations. Either somebody has come home from hospital and the council's six weeks have run out before they were ready — or a fall has taken their confidence, and the idea of getting to an appointment and back is doing more harm than the appointment would do good.
Liphook and Liss sit six miles apart on the A3 and on the same railway line, and they have a good deal in common: one GP group between them, a train an hour to London one way and Portsmouth the other, and a population getting steadily older. Nearly 22 per cent of Liphook is aged 65 or over, against 18.4 per cent nationally, and Liss — older still in feel, with its two halves either side of the Rother and the Forest spreading north — is much the same.
Where they differ is where they send you when something goes wrong. Liphook looks north to Guildford. Liss looks south to Cosham. Neither has a hospital of its own, and both are a good drive from wherever they are heading. When you can no longer drive yourself, an appointment stops being an hour out of the day and becomes the whole day — and if there is nobody in the house to take you, it may not happen at all.
We fill the gap that opens after the ward has discharged you and the reablement team has finished, when there is still real recovery left to do. We come to the house, for as long as it's genuinely helping, and we work around whatever NHS or council support you already have rather than duplicating it.
Our chartered physiotherapists visit throughout both towns and the villages along the A3 between them.
